Robot Vacuum Obstacle Setup Guide

Robot vacuums learn best in an environment that is safe and reasonably consistent, not one filled with loose cords and unexpected floor-level hazards.
Clear risky objects
Pick up cables, string, small toys, liquids and lightweight items that can wrap around brushes or be pushed. Secure blind cords and pet items.
Test thresholds
Observe the vacuum around rugs, dark surfaces, stairs and room transitions. Sensors differ, so use approved barriers or map zones where needed.
Improve the map
Start from the dock, keep doors in their normal position and allow complete mapping runs. Edit room boundaries and no-go areas in the official app.
Maintain navigation
Clean sensors and wheels as instructed, provide dock clearance and update firmware carefully. Never rely on obstacle detection to protect fragile or hazardous objects.
