How to Clean an Essential Oil Diffuser

Regular cleaning helps prevent mixed scents, residue and poor mist output. Always start with the manufacturer’s instructions because materials and internal designs differ.
Unplug and empty
Switch off, disconnect power and pour remaining liquid from the side specified in the manual, away from air outlets and controls. Never clean while the base is connected.
Wipe the reservoir
Use a soft cloth or swab and only the approved cleaning solution. Avoid abrasive tools, soaking the electrical base or letting liquid enter ventilation openings.
Clean the mist plate gently
Mineral or oil film on the ultrasonic plate can reduce output. Touch it only as directed, without scraping. Rinse permitted removable parts and remove all cleaning residue.
Dry before storage
Air-dry every part completely before reassembly. Clean before changing scents or long storage, inspect the cable and seals, and discontinue use if leaking or electrical damage appears.
